Children’s’ Lampshade Forest

The Waterlooplein magically converted into a Lampshade Forest. Twelve trees spread across the Waterlooplein are decorated with hundreds of lamp shades, painted by 500 pupils from primary schools from Across all of Amsterdam. This has allowed the children to be young light artists that are an active part of the festival. Robbert ten Caten, 500 school children, Nemo, Marktvereniging de Waterloo and Stadsdeel Centrum have made this project possible.
